HONG Kong-based CF & Associates Appraisal is hoping to attract investors to a US$75-million luxury residential development near Manila with the lure of a special investors' resident visa. The apartments will be promoted as qualifying within the $75,000 minimum investment required to apply for the special visas, which are approved through the Philippines Board of Investments. The company cannot offer the visas directly to investors. Manuel Valdez of the selling agent, CF & Associates, said property assets qualified as a legitimate investment under guidelines issued by the board. The 28 apartments come in four sizes: the two-bedroomed Capri unit is 274.30 square metres; and the larger Capri has three-bedrooms and an area of 309.76 sq m.
