Ha Kwai Chung Government Secondary School held its open day on February 20. The event gave parents a chance to discuss their children's progress and any other concerns with the teachers.
Student helpers explained the various exhibits to the visitors, who were entertained by performances from the school choir and orchestra.
Fun games were especially popular among students who flocked to the school.
Music was in the air at the Sha Tin Town Hall on February 11 when CMA Secondary School held its annual music day. It aimed to encourage students to develop their potential in music and provide them with an opportunity to showcase their talent in a live performance.
The contest was divided into different sections: solos, group singing and instrument. Judges included the chairlady and vice-chair of the parent-teacher association, alumni, the principal, vice-principal and senior teachers. Participants were judged on both creativity and performance. Their whole-hearted performance won a lot of applause.
Guest performers joining in the fun included parents, teachers and alumni. Their performance got the audience all excited, demanding encore after encore. The occasion ended with the prize presentation ceremony, and the audience left with the sound of music lingering in their minds.
