Two hundred Olympicathletes can't be wrong. They, among others, have turned to stretching guru Aaron Mattes for help. Mattes is a sports coach and founder of the Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) technique. He is credited with straightening out the bodies of the Olympians, Michael Jordan and golfer Paul Azinger and a host of NFL players who fly across the States to visit him at his Sarasota clinic in Florida.
Mattes will be in Hong Kong on Thursday to conduct a seminar on AIS at the Hong Kong Football Club in Happy Valley (tickets are $300). He'll also be opening a new clinic for Chris Watts of the Stretch Flexibility Studio on Saturday, in Winsome House, 73 Wyndham Street.
In addition to his work with sports stars, Mattes is also known for his work with paraplegics, quadriplegics and clients with multiple sclerosis and cerebral palsy.
His AIS technique is regarded as a revolutionary approach to stretching the body. Phone 2167 8686 for details.
