MUSICAL MAGIC
The Hong Kong Sinfonietta will offer an insight into musical terms in the upcoming concerts Shortcut to Classical Music - Musical Terms 'Therapy Session'.
Comedian Jim Chim Sui-man from Theatre Ensemble and conductor Yip Wing-sie will explain some commonly used musical terms.
The orchestra will perform masterpieces including Mendelssohn's Fingal's Cave, Op 26, Mozart's The Magic Flute Overture, K620 and Strauss's Pizzicato Polka.
The concerts, with Cantonese narration, will take place at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall tomorrow, Sha Tin Town Hall Auditorium on Saturday, and Tuen Mun Town Hall Auditorium on Sunday.
All shows will start at 7.30pm. Tickets, priced from $90 to $200 for adults, and half-price for students, can be bought through Urbtix.
