The once-humble toilet has gone hi-tech with the all-encompassing, super-luxurious, bells and whistles Toto Neorest. Now you can literally sit down on the job and have everything done for you.
The low-profile Neorest has Toto washlet features built in, and features CeFIONect ceramic glazing and an ergonomic design for extra comfort. When activated, the automatic self-washing wand extends to provide a gentle stream of aerated water for effective cleansing.
But wait, there's more. The Neorest also features an auto-powered deodoriser, a warm-air dryer with temperature adjustment, an energy-saving timer-operated seat heater, along with the automatic opening and closing of the lid. All of these features are conveniently and simply controlled by a wireless remote with an LCD panel.
The Neorest won a Design for Asia Award last year for its stylish hi-tech look, and was rated in a newspaper poll as 'one of the most luxurious things desired by tycoons of Hong Kong'.
But Hong Kong was not deemed ready for such a product until late last year by Pinnacle Building Materials. Priced at $35,000, the fitting can be installed where there is an existing toilet, but only a P-trap is available.
