Despair no more over the shapeless and frumpy maternity wear that seems to hang around like a curse when a woman should look her most beautiful. Linea Negra  imports a wide range of chic  maternity fashion that flatters rather than depresses. Do not put up with the above-the-belly maternal trousers.  The store is known for its below-the-belly range.  There are seven to eight lines of maternity designs from the United States, Canada, the Netherlands and Australia, with  new shipments every two weeks.  .

Prices are reasonable at $300 for a T-shirt, to $600 for a blouse, $700 for a pair of trousers and $1,000 for evening wear. Complementing the maternity wear lines are birthing accessories, skincare products, toys and baby-wear products.

It has added a new range of  children's vitamins, including Yummi Bears and Child Life liquid vitamins.

It also offers fresh organic vegetables from two local farms for $18 per pack and carries a healthy range of foods, personal care items, homeopathic remedies, vitamins, supplements and chemical-free home cleaning products for the whole family. Looking for a book or educational toys to entertain  your child? Try this one-stop shop on the south side of Hong Kong Island. Opened late last year, the bookstore specialises in English titles and teaching materials for children and teenagers. The best part is that the shop  sells books from the United States and Britain at the published retail prices converted to Hong Kong dollars, with no mark-up.  The bookshop also plans to host weekend story reading groups in the near future.
