Those N'Sync fans who grew accustomed to the boy band's squeaky-clean image are in for a bit of a shock with the racy and, at times, downright openly sexual solo debut of JC Chasez's Schizophrenic.

Perhaps living in the shadow of N'Sync star Justin Timberlake for so long has made Chasez attempt to go above and beyond what Timberlake tried to do with his debut album, Justified.

The lyrics are racy in such songs as All Day Long I Dream About Sex and Come To Me but, as the album title suggests, Chasez tries several different styles. There are beat-thumping, clubbing songs such as Some Girls (Dance With Women) and Shake It, and there's also a more mellow side, as heard in Something Special.

There is no denying that Chasez has talent as well as versatility and creativity, but what could keep him from becoming a full-fledged star like Timberlake is that he never fully develops his own true persona on this album - it is, well, schizophrenic. Do I recommend it? No. But, then again, I never enjoyed N'Sync during their five-year run. Fans of N'Sync's music, however, most likely will enjoy Chasez's debut.
