These days tattoos are one of the most popular forms of body art. Whether it's for fun, to be cool or to show how deeply in love you are with your partner - you name it, everyone's getting one.

But, to me, getting a tattoo seems painful. Imagine the needle pricking into your flesh.

And, I really don't understand why anyone would want a permanent mark on their body. What if you got tired of the design, you wouldn't be able to remove it.

Why can't we use stickers instead? They are convenient, easy to wash off and can still be beautiful. Is the pain of having a tattoo really worth it?

I think that having tattoos is an act of disrespect to your body. I really can't understand why some people have tattoos all over their bodies. Are they mad? Why do they need to deface what they were born with?

Look at some famous people, they get tattoos of their partner's names to show the bond between them. But, when the couple breaks up or gets divorced, they are left with each other's name imprinted on them. The tattoo is then no longer a sign of love. Instead it becomes a scar - bearing witness to their breakup or divorce. It seems rather ironic to me.
