Linkin Park, known for their attitude and wonderful energy, are coming to Hong Kong on June 17. Fans will be happy to know that we are finally on their radar - on their last Asian tour, they made waves in Japan and Malaysia.
Rumours that the band had to water down their lyrics in Malaysia were blown out of proportion, says concert promoter Michael Roche, of Lushington in Singapore. He says the Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board welcomed the band with no restrictions.
In Hong Kong, expect them 'to blow the top off the HK Convention Centre', says Roche. Fans will get a huge standing room area, but security will be tight. 'They are very conscientious about their fans and they will do all they can to make sure no one gets hurt.'
This time round, Linkin Park are also heading to Singapore and other cities in Southeast Asia (to be confirmed). Tickets will be sold on HK Ticketing, probably next week for $450-$988 each.
