Most of Zhongshan's parks - as with many of its streets, hospitals, and schools - have some kind of connection with Sun Yat-sen. By far the most famous - and popular - is Sun Wen Memorial Park . They all have unique atmospheres and attractions, and can't be appreciated in a single day.

Intersection of Xingzhong Road and Chenggui Road
Located at the foot of Xingzhong Road, this is the city's most important tourist destination. Completed in 1994, the 26.6-hectare park contains the world's largest bronze statue of Sun Yat-sen along with a hill-top pagoda and pavilions.

A pagoda atop the hill in Zhongshan Park is ranked as one of the city's top tourist attractions. Built during the Qing Dynasty, it now commands pride of place within Zhongshan Park, which was built around it in tribute to the father of modern China.
