A BUSINESSMAN was rescued from a 14th-floor canopy in Mongkok after being held for two days by men demanding he repay a $3-million loan.

Chan Hoi-wah, 36, was taken to Kwong Wah Hospital after telling police he had been beaten by his captors.

Mr Chan, who was treated and discharged, said he was involved in China trading and had been cheated in a deal, losing nearly $3 million which he had borrowed.

Four men went to his flat on Saturday and demanded repayment. When two left yesterday he made a dash for the window, he said.
