The folks organising the Hong Kong Cancer Foundation's annual charity ball have raised the stakes again, announcing that they've added an up-and-coming tenor singer from Down Under to the bill. Peter Brocklehurst, a 43-year-old singer whose debut album will be released next month, will be performing at the ball in September, the organisers tell CitySeen. The best part is he'll be providing his services free. Brocklehurst is one of Australia's newest singing sensations, having been discovered while living and working in a Melbourne shoe-repair shop. The foundation has already signed up actress/singer Karen Mok Man-wai as its spokeswoman.
