Nicole and Norbert Corsino are choreographers, dancers, video artists, scenographers and partners in both art and life.
Norbert was also once a mathematician.
Originally dancers, the Marseille-based French couple were passionately interested in the kinetics (movements) of the body.
Theatre provided too general a vision, so they decided to focus on detail.
Their interest in kinetics and space led them to explore areas where dance can be choreographed to show how movements of the body change with space.
They choreograph everything that enters their field of vision. They also ask a lot of questions and seek answers. What is a movement made of? How is it amplified? Where does it start ? What are its most secret roots?
