Crown Motors, the sole distributor in Hong Kong for Toyota, Daihatsu and Lexus cars and Hino heavy goods vehicles, has won the Toyota Triple Crown Award for the 12th consecutive year. The award is given only to distributors that achieve No1 local market share for Toyota in passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles and overall markets. Crown Motors had 31 per cent of the Hong Kong car market share with Toyota, and its luxury branch, Lexus. The Corolla (below) is its most popular model for families, and the Alphard is the hot model for VIPs and people running cross-border trade, says the distributor's spokeswoman, Susanna Wu. And Lexus is back. 'Since the economy has begun to recover, people are again starting to look for luxury cars,' Wu says. 'That's why we've just opened a new showroom.' The shop is at 113, Chatham Road South, Tsim Sha Tsui. Franz-Josef Paefgen, the chairman of Bentley Motors, has sent Foot Down a boxed collection of booklets, The Racing Legacy (right), celebrating the marque's five Le Mans victories of 1927- 1930 and 2003, as written and photographed by the press at the time. 'The original booklets appear only rarely in auctions for sale, so we have reproduced the entire collection to tell the story of those incredible 24 hours races,' he writes. 'I hope you will enjoy this unique collection of Bentley motorsport heritage of which we have produced only 500, and which will not be reprinted.' Well, tempting as it is to do otherwise, Foot Down is offering The Racing Legacy as a prize. All you have to do is: 1 Answer these three questions about the marque: (a) In what year did Bentley enter the first 'works' team in the famous Le Mans race? (b) Which driver took the winning Bentley Speed 8 over the finish line to victory at the 2003 Le Mans race and in which car? (c) How many outright victories did Bentley achieve at Le Mans between 1924 and 1930? 2 Send us a picture of you with a Bentley - to ensure this prize goes to a genuine Flying B lover. 3 Say why Foot Down is like a Le Mans winning team. (You can lie through your teeth on this one). Please send your answers to email@example.com by June 12.
