AN armed gang escaped with $2.8 million worth of blood plasma after raiding a North Point company yesterday. Police believed the six men - three of whom carried pistols - might smuggle the consignment into China.

At least 17 employees and one customer were threatened when the gang forced their way into the 16th floor premises in Hoi King Building on Watson Road at about 5.45 pm. The German-made plasma was in 50 boxes and 10 plastic buckets.
