While researching a forthcoming trip to Seoul, I came across an interesting food blog, or internet diary, by FatMan Seoul (fatman-seoul.blogspot.com). There's not much information about the blogger, whose motto seems to be 'Seoul searching ... food for the Seoul', other than that he recently moved to the city and started the blog in February. Although some of the blog talks about what it's like to live in the South Korean capital, FatMan's main concern is food - he documents what he eats with digital photos and detailed explanations. Unfortunately, FatMan leaves out important details such as addresses and phone numbers, giving only the districts where the restaurant or food stall can be found. Still, it gives a good preview of the variety found in Seoul because FatMan covers everything from pizzas and fast food to Korean barbecue, street offerings (sweet pancakes, far right) and dishes such as bosod bulgogi or beef with mushrooms (right).
