PHOTO EXHIBITION Focus at the Frontline is an annual photo contest organised by the Hong Kong Press Photographers' Association and the Hong Kong Arts Centre. The winning entries will be on display from Thursday until June 28 at the centre's Fujimage Gallery. The exhibition pays tribute to photojournalists, the unsung heroes of the profession who brave danger to capture images at the frontline. SCOTTISH TRAGEDY Students from Wah Yan College will perform an adaptation of William Shakespeare's tragedy Macbeth. Based on the original story about Macbeth's bloody rise to power, the play is a modern version which explores age-old themes of jealousy, betrayal and bloodshed. Performed in English, the drama is part of the Faust Festival 2004. It will be staged at the Fringe Club's 02 Theatre over the next two days at 6pm. OIL PAINTINGS A collection of oil paintings by Chinese artist Yin Xin are being shown until June 14 at 10 Chancery Lane Gallery, Central. The artist has been living in Paris since 1991.
