Giant-killers Kitchee are likely to field the same team who humiliated AC Milan in their next exhibition match against Newcastle United next month. The English Premier League side will be led by former England skipper Alan Shearer for the July 18 game at Hong Kong Stadium. Kitchee chief executive Ken Ng said he had already received verbal confirmation from former Yugoslav World Cup stars Nisa Saveljic, Zoran Mirkovic and Predrag Mijatovic that they are interested in playing against the Magpies. 'I asked them after the Milan game if they would help us against Newcastle. They all said they would like to return,' said Ng. 'But it will depend on their club commitments and we will be in contact again soon.' Ng said he also wanted to secure the services of Fulham's Portuguese forward Luis Boa Morte again. 'Newcastle finished fifth in the Premier League this season and they are as strong as AC Milan,' he said. 'We played very well last Sunday against Milan and therefore we want the same team against Newcastle.' Kitchee are also negotiating new terms with their Indonesian striker Rochi Putiray and Japanese midfielder Dan Ito. Putiray was the hero on Sunday night after scoring both of Kitchee's goals against AC Milan. 'We didn't sign a contract with any of our players, so they are free to leave at the end of the season,' Ng said. 'But we are definitely happy with [Ito and Putiray] so we will try our best to retain them.'
