A model struts her stuff on the catwalk of this year's 35th annual Summer Wedding Expo. Couples looking to tie the knot flocked to the show on its first day yesterday at the Convention and Exhibition Centre to check out wedding services, including photo packages, catering and banquets, gowns and tuxedoes and limo rentals. Ricky Man Chi-hung, manager of Chaste Wedding Services Centre, said 20 couples had stopped by the company's booth yesterday. 'This year is better,' Mr Man said. Last year, 'people stopped all wedding plans. This year, it's a double spring,' Mr Man said, using a Chinese expression. Mr Man said his company handled about 100 couples a month. Hong Kong's marriage rate has been growing in the past few years. Last year there were 35,400 marriages in the city, up from 32,100 in 2002 and 31,700 in 1998, the Census and Statistics Department said.
