In a city where last season's collections are considered vintage it is hard to find clothes and accessories to set you apart from the crowd. Or it was until now.

New online fashion-design service Egami (www.egami-lifestyle.com), the brainchild of Hong Kong portrait photographer Martha Chaudhry, offers personalised possessions to make you stand out. Carrying Anya Hindmarch's Be A Bag concept a step further, Egami will take the photograph or artwork of your choice and transpose it onto scarves, wraps and coat linings, bags (from $1,600) and wallets (from $700). You simply upload your hi-resolution, digital image onto the site. (If it is a print or drawing you must scan it on your own equipment or take it to a photographic shop.) Technophobes can take heart: detailed step-by-step instructions on Egami's website guide you through the process. The image can then be cropped, tinted and colour- washed according to your instructions.
The quality of the materials and workmanship is top end. Think suede and satin jackets (pictured: Tokyo coat, $4,900) and chiffon scarves ($1,800).
