If you are serious about adventure sports, or at least giving them a go, then CitySeen has a challenge for you. The Boys and Girls Clubs Association of Hong Kong is kicking off its annual summer adventure-based programme, called 'Team Challenge'. This year it will be held from July 17 to 18 and the organisers are calling for the adventurous and not-so-faint-of-heart to step forwards. Besides the youth teams, they are seeking open teams, aged 25 and above. Corporate teams are also welcome. The weekend promises a healthy dose of competition with mountaineering, pool diving, canoeing, orienteering and abseiling. The deadline for applications is Tuesday. Application fees are $1,500 for a team with a plea to raise at least $3,000 (youths), and $5,000 (open). The inquiry hotline is 2527 9121 and the website is at www.bgca.org.hk .
