Italian films
They call it the Italian Film Festival, even though only three films are shown. To coincide with Italy 2004: Quality of Life, the Italian Chamber of Commerce and the Italian Consulate present Adventure of Life, featuring three new Italian films, Just Do It, Sons and Miracle. The festival is on until the end of June at the Hong Kong Arts Centre. Tickets $50, and $30 for students, are available at all HK Ticketing outlets.

Violin recital
Violinist Elizabeth Lo is one of Hong Kong's most outstanding home-grown violinists. She was the winner of the Ruggiero Ricci Prize and the Exxon Scholarship while she was still studying at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. Sincerely Yours is Lo's debut recital and it's on June 20 at 8pm at the Hong Kong City Hall Theatre. Tickets $250 and $150. For more information, call 2836 3336.
