Italian furniture brand Edra (www.edra.com) prides itself on its innovative creations, many of which have become milestones of contemporary design. Its Esse modular sofa, which recently arrived in Hong Kong, looks set to be added to that roll of honour. Designed for Edra by Francesco Binfare, Esse is the latest addition to L'Homme et La Femme range and offers versatile comfort for discerning lounge lizards. Thanks to its rotating chrome-plated metal supports and a patented attach/release mechanism, the sofa's backrests can be manipulated to slant at various angles. The cushions are generously proportioned and can be upholstered in fabric or leather; optional large square footrests are available.
