A prototype of the latest in-bus television services from multimedia ad firm Roadshow goes on display inside a double-decker bus. Live broadcasts of entertainment, news, weather and traffic bulletins may eventually be made available aboard certain routes. Roadshow, an arm of Kowloon Motor Bus, gave a demonstration yesterday using a sample broadcast from the government's Tsz Wan Shan experimental terrestrial digital television transmitter to a specially outfitted bus. RoadShow director Amanda Lui Yee-fai said there was no timetable for implementing the service, adding that it depended on the government's decision on how to license digital broadcasters. This was not expected until later this year.
