Just about everything pop  star Robbie Williams says  and does finds its way into print.  Consequently, this unauthorised biography   is packed with common knowledge: his drinking, his temper, his spectacular highs and lows. Celebrity biographer Sean Smith devotes entire chapters to the people who have supported Williams since he started performing as a child: his mum, childhood friend Zoe Hammond and best mate Jonathan 'Jonty' Wilkes. But loads of detail about these 'ordinary people' fails to make them interesting. In spite of the cover promise of insider gossip, it turns out that  Williams  never had an affair with Kylie Minogue, Andrea Corr or Nicole Kidman. And  although he claims to have slept with Geri Halliwell, she denies it.
