'Restless Soul' adds to his journey of discovery
DJ Phil Asher brought the house down at Kee on Saturday night, with an eclectic mix of people appreciating his music tastes.
From actress Bai Ling (who is in town from New York to film Dumplings with Fruit Chan), to guests of the Filmart, Hamish McAlpine and Carole Siller of Tartan Films, to the residuals of the Academy of Performing Arts Ball - the crowd praised his choice of music.
Asher was greeted by fans who politely asked for autographs, and he was thrilled with the requests.
When asked why he used the name 'Restless Soul' for his production company, he said that he came across a website about a guy who travelled the world, 'wandering around, discovering the world, and I feel that way about music. I am on a journey and I never know where I am going next'.
