Reports were swirling at the weekend that disgraced former financial secretary Antony Leung Kam-chung has found himself in honourable employment. These suggest that he has hooked up with his old golfing buddy, Canning Fok Kin-ning, at Hutchison Whampoa, to help out on the firm's stalled Beijing property projects.
A spokesperson declined comment on the report last night but Mr Leung's Beijing connections are thought to still carry some weight.
