Korean heart-throb Won Bin will be in Hong Kong today on a three-day visit to promote his new hit, Taegukgi ('Brotherhood').

Also starring Jang Dong-gun, the movie is about two brothers forced to join the army during the Korean war, and has been described as Saving Private Ryan meets Legends of the Fall.

'I went through a whole package of Kleenex' says Min Yoo, a Korean in Hong Kong. 'It was so sad.'

A huge success in South Korea, it raked in more than US$100 million at the local box office and was rumoured to cost only US$12 million.

The film had its international premier at Italy's Udine Far East Film Festival in April.
