Hats off to the couple who won the Town Crier's Best Dressed award at the magazine's fifth anniversary bash on Monday night.
Not only did Susan and Julian Tyson (pictured here with an unidentified reveller) take the party's dress code of 'flower bright, cherry blossom, royal greens and summer yellow' seriously, they easily outshone the drably-dressed crowd at Club 97.
While Susan's green sequin one-piece dress (complete with flowers she sewed on herself) out-blinged everyone, Julian's flame-red shirt made him a sight for sore eyes. 'The party was good fun, though I felt a bit overdressed,' Susan said.
The couple won a pair of Free Fire binoculars with a built-in camera, 'good for spying on people with', Susan said.
A fan of Town Crier, Susan added that satire weekly Spike also had a place on her reading table.
'I normally read Town Crier - it's quite fun and useful. I read Spike as well, as it's very cutting,' she said.
