The next time you're serenaded by a church choir, study the faces carefully because you may be witnessing a star in the making. Daughter of a preacher man, soulster Keri Noble started singing in a choir - as did Whitney Houston, Brian Littrell of the Backstreet Boys, and Norah Jones to name a few. Described as 'the next Joni Mitchell', the small-town singer-songwriter was discovered jamming and was soon signed to Manhattan/EMI Records by the same label execs that struck gold with Jones. Noble will be in Hong Kong for a private performance on July 29 at the Kee Club. And because CitySeen always tries real hard to give a little something back to our regular readers, we have pulled a few strings and got our hands on two double passes for the performance. Tell us why you love soul music (e-mail email@example.com ). Tickets will go to those with the most original answers. The rest of you can hear Noble's material on her debut CD, titled Fearless.
