Updated at 5.35pm: Police on Thursday have re-classified a robbery case as murder - after a 53-year-old man died from chop wounds, a spokesman said. At 9.30pm on Wednesday, police received a report of a robbery at an open area at Wah Shan Tsuen in Sheung Shui. Officers rushed to the scene and found a 53-year-old man with chop wounds to his body, the spokesman said. The man was taken to North District Hospital, but certified dead on Thursday morning. Police have arrested a 21-year-old man in connection with the case. A knife was also seized. The 21-year-old is now being detained for further questions, the spokesman said. Investigations by Tai Po police are continuing.
