THERE were plenty of good runs in the third event, won from pillar-to-post by trainer Peter Ng Bik-kuen's Intermac Supreme. Second-placed Determinater was not fully wound up for his reappearance yet managed to beat 12 others. He won first time out last season, but that was over 1,235 metres, compared to yesterday's mile. Expect him to improve for the run. Family Of Wah Yuen ran on well for third and is definitely worth keeping close tabs on when sent back to the Happy Valley equitrack. Eddie K. C. Lo's four-year-old has lots of natural pace and, now that he is approaching full fitness, he can be sent to the front under Tony Cruz on the equitrack to make all the running. A very interesting sort is fourth-placed Always Money Comes, who has only been lightly raced and is open to considerable improvement. He is a big type and has needed his couple of runs to date. Alex Wong Yu-on should have him cherry ripe next time out.. He was ridden by a maximum claiming apprentice yesterday and should progress just for a switch to a senior rider. The other runner to catch the eye was Derek Cruz's stayer Polygain. He boxed on in determined fashion yesterday to follow Always Money Comes to the line.
