The Malaysian David once again stormed to a straight-set victory over the Hong Kong ace at the US$43,500 Brunei International Championship in Bandar Seri Begawan yesterday.

Chiu went down 10-8, 9-1, 9-5 in the first round of the WISPA Grand Prix event and allowed David to extend her dominance.

The encounter was hotly contested at the start but David gradually took control to walk out an easy winner

'Rebecca was just not sharp enough in the latter stages and seemed to tire while Nicol looked fresh,' said Hong Kong coach Tony Choi.

Chiu held an 8-7 lead in the first set, but David drew level and then won the next two crucial points.
