Getting motivated

Dr Patricia Bowmer completed her PhD thesis on exercise motivation at the City University of New York, and studied neuro-psychology at Cornell University. She works with individuals as a life coach and ACE-certified personal trainer, and is a writer and motivational speaker, as well as an avid adventure race competitor.

Her first book, In Pursuit of Joy, will be released in Hong Kong in September. It is designed to inspire people to lead fulfilling lives and is based on stories from her work and life. Dr Bowmer can be contacted via e-mail at [email protected]
