More than 160 secondary school students exchanged insights on global citizenship during a camp organised by the Hong Kong Outstanding Students' Association (HKOSA) earlier this week.

The three-day camp, named Interflow Camp 2004 - G-Generation, held at Wu Kai Sha Youth Village, was designed for Form Three to Five students with the aim to broaden their world perspectives through learning from each other.

Games, quizzes and a debate on whether the 'minority tribe' should fight against the 'powerful tribe' challenged the young minds.

'It proved that most of us had a certain level of understanding of global citizenship,' said Jeffrey Cheung Ming-fung, social services officer for HKOSA.

'We believe the camp's objective - to raise the concern of participants about the international community - has been achieved.'
