A new platform for airing public opinion on controversial issues was launched yesterday amid continuing controversy over the departure of Commercial Radio's popular talk-show hosts. The Hong Kong Development Forum said its website, www.hkdforum.org.hk , promotes freedom of speech by publishing any comments, provided they were not obscene. Contributors would have to register before giving opinions. It said the website would 'meticulously classify the opinions into pro, con and neutral categories'. 'We don't need to rely on a radio station, we now have a new website,' said forum convenor Ronnie Chan Kai-chung. The site is in Chinese but English-language contributions are welcome.
