Team Foamposite coach Lee Kin-ming hopes the return of Chan Yiu-cho from injury will help his side seal a place in the play-offs of the Nike All-Hong Kong Youth Basketball League.
A talented point guard, Chan can play a crucial role for the inexperienced team who lost their opening game to Team Force, before beating Team Air Max on Thursday night at Southorn Stadium in Wan Chai.
Chan injured his ankle playing for his school, Newman College, at a tournament recently and has not fully recovered yet.
Lee's top pick in the Nike league draft has been resting so far, but was expected to play a part in last Saturday's game against Team Air Zoom.
'The team need Yiu-cho,' said Lee.
'With him in the side I am confident we can get to the playoffs. He is a real leader. His reactions are very quick, he makes a lot of assists and can score about 20 points a game.'
Tomorrow, Foamposite meet Team Force again in their fourth match and the boys are hungry for revenge.
