Sams, Bozarth, Stensgaard and Castka cover myriad angles for station's commentary team TVB Pearl will be covering the Games starting with an hour of Athens Olympics Daily Highlights at 8am. Live coverage will start at 2pm for two hours, followed by two one-hour live broadcasts from 6.30pm and 8.30pm. Extensive live coverage will resume from midnight to 5am. Pearl's commentary team is headed by Andrew Sams, Don Bozarth, Kiki Stensgaard and Gillian Castka. Sams, TVB's long-time sports presenter, will be commenting on his fifth Olympics. Bozarth, a veteran triathlete, former Asian triathlon champion and ex-tennis professional, will be presenting his fourth Olympics with Sams. Stensgaard is an ex-handball international and has competed in the Olympics for Denmark. He has played in the Danish Under-21 football team and has competed nationally in table tennis, the 100-metres dash and long jump. Castka has a personal marathon best of two hours, 32 minutes and 53 seconds - 19th on the world all-time list at the time. ATV World will be presenting Olympic updates after the 7.30pm news, followed by Olympic Daily Highlights, an hour-long programme focusing on major events and athletes of the day. Live coverage will mainly be broadcast on its sister channel ATV home and will start from 11pm to 5am. However, coverage is only available in Cantonese. ATV's presenters will be Tim Bredbury and Matthew Jung. Hong Kong-born Bredbury is a former Hong Kong striker and Footballer of the Year. Jung is an ex-NCAA Division One basketball player for Loyola College, Chicago. He has in the past worked with the Asian Basketball Confederation as a promotions clinic co-ordinator and executive.
