Japanese singers CHEER UP CROWD

Other than Rain, two Japanese singers who performed at last weekend's MTV Taipei Music festival also lifted the spirits of the crowd.

Japanese hip-hop queen AI was a welcome relief after Taiwanese boy band Energy, who seemed to have put the crowd to sleep. AI bounced around the stage dressed in a cap and a glossy, black tracksuit that showed off her shocking pink tube top. The crowd screamed and danced, making her set one of the best of the night.

Naohito Fujiki, another japanese singer, also performed. Some might think that he looks and sounds too '1980s', but his songs have catchy melodies.
