PASSENGERS on board a China-bound ferry involved in the fatal collision with a fishing boat on Monday were yesterday urged to come forward with any information which could help investigations. Assistant Director of Shipping John Tse Yan-chi made the plea as the police search for the five missing crew from the fishing boat was called off without success. The crew are now presumed drowned. The body of their captain, Chow Kan-fuk, was found minutes after his 28-metre boat collided with the Xing Hu off Ma Wan Island. Mr Tse said his investigators had yet to speak to Chow's relatives who were aboard a fishing boat travelling beside Chow's craft but ferry passengers could also prove vital.
