ETHNIC MINORITY SHOW
The award-winning Inner Mongolia Folk Art Troupe, supported by a strong cast of talented artists, will be bringing their ethnic song and dance performance to Hong Kong as a part of the Chinese Operatic Series 2004.
The performance will be staged today and tomorrow at the City Hall Theatre, and from Wednesday to Friday at Sha Tin Town Hall's Cultural Activities Hall. It will start at 7.30pm. Tickets range from $80 to $150 (half-price for students) at Urbtix on 2734 9009.
TRIBUTE EXHIBITION
Home-grown visual artist Stella Tang Ying-chi has made a collection of colourful veils as a tribute to the people in the garment industry for their contribution to Hong Kong's economy over the past decades.
With a sewing machine, Tang has freely sewn lines on fabric with black cotton threads as a pure and spontaneous artistic expression.
