Product: Stowaway Universal Bluetooth Keyboard Price: $1,170 Pros: Very compact, ultraportable and easy to operate Cons: So small and light you might not remember where you put it

Want to turn your personal digital assistant (PDA) into a portable personal computer? All you need is a keyboard.

The Stowaway Universal Bluetooth Keyboard is a little piece of ingenuity that folds up so small you can tuck it into the front pocket of your jacket.

Made by a Silicon Valley-based company called Think Outside, the 160-gram keyboard is so small, it measures just 139mm by 99mm by 13mm when folded.

When open, it spreads out to measure about 251mm by 148mm by 13mm. While the keyboard is smaller than normal, the keys are nice and big. Spacing between keys is adequate, and key travel is 3mm, similar to that for most notebooks.

The open keyboard provides a clip-on stand on which your PDA can rest, and you can control the angle of the keyboard. The range of the stand is 10?metres, according to information on the box, but I did not bother checking as I am sure no one would be able to read a PDA screen from that distance.

It takes two AAA batteries to power the keyboard, and closing it will immediately turn off the power.
