Daniel Chan is a man on the move. Flitting back and forth between his home in Hong Kong and business in China over the past six years, he has developed an impressive background in sales and strategic planning, with expertise in the telecoms industry.

It is an industry in which he wants to remain, and he is looking for a position in sales and business development for a multinational corporation. In particular, Mr Chan is after a job at the senior management level, such as director of sales or business.

'The telecoms industry is a promising industry which is growing very rapidly. I would like to continue working in China because of its rapidly growing market,' he said.

No stranger to the industry, Mr Chan has been general manager Guangdong/business director for First Telecom International, director of strategic planning/marketing director for Beverley Pacific International and sales manager (Hong Kong and Macau) for Philips Consumer Communications.

'I understand the process and technology to supply products to the customer and I'd like a chance to advance myself in this area,' Mr Chan said.

'I want to work for a multinational corporation because of the worldwide experience and skills it can offer me. Multinationals can also provide an environment in which to contribute more to business and customers.'
