'Good Health for Life' is the slogan of the Integrated Medicine Institute (IMI) and it is what inspires staff at the diagnostic and clinical resources specialists. What is most unique about the institute is its integration of western medicine, naturopathic, chiropractic and homeopathic treatments. Combining scientific and holistic streams of medicine, the IMI's treatment focuses on the well-being of the mind, metabolism, structure and energy levels - rather than just addressing symptoms of a disease. The institute is looking to hire a dispensary sales assistant for its clinic in Central. The main duties of the assistant would be to advise customers and increase their level of interest in naturopathic health for a better quality lifestyle. He or she would also be responsible for making tinctures and offering suggestions on homeopathic medicines and dietary corrections using a scientific approach. 'It is a sales-oriented job in nature,' said founding director Graeme Stuart-Bradshaw. 'We are looking for someone who is outgoing and comfortable with sales; someone who leads a healthy lifestyle.' The job is rewarding in that all staff at IMI work together to help people live happier, healthier lives. The dispensary sales assistant would be expected to develop relationships with the customers in helping them make the right choices for their personal health needs. Other duties include meeting the daily needs of customers, dealing with a cash register and cashing out at the end of each day 'It is very worthwhile work,' said Mr Stuart-Bradshaw. 'We're an easy-going company. We're not an over-the-top sales and marketing-oriented group. We are about people; assisting them to attain good health.' The IMI's long-term goal is to improve the practice of medicine in Asia. While it values western medicine, its primary focus is not on modern medicine as it believes the use of powerful drugs often do more harm than good.
