SCMP Reporter

Every Wednesday, starting  today, we will run a news article on page 7 on which a lesson plan is based.  Put together by experienced  educators, our Web-based lesson plans - accessible through registration - aim to help English teachers use news articles to improve students' language skills.

Language learning is the focus here, starting with   reading,  vocabulary and  grammar, expanding into  writing, listening and speaking. Targeted at students with varying degrees of English proficiency, the lessons are creative and user-friendly and  make language learning fun and interactive.
