Man held for attempted armed robbery on taxi
A man, aged 27, has been arrested for allegedly firing a gun at a taxi in a bungled robbery in Yuen Long. The driver's window was shattered in the incident last Wednesday. The suspect was arrested in Tuen Mun. Police said two guns were found at his home. No charge has been laid yet.
minibus stolen
A man, 21, and a teenager were arrested after allegedly stealing a minibus. It was stopped in Ap Lei Chau after it was seen being driven erratically in Lei Tung Estate Road about 4am.
burglar tackled
A 59-year-old man and his son, 27, subdued a knife-wielding mainland burglar who broke into their flat at Yan Chung House, Yan Ming Court, Tseung Kwan O. The man woke to find the intruder, 28, in his bedroom at 3am.
