If you're interested in learning about Sri Lankan cuisine, head over to the Repulse Bay, which is holding a cooking class at Spices on Thursday. Executive chef Dietmar Spitzer will teach students to make such dishes as spicy prawn patties stuffed with lentils and served with tamarind sauce, pumpkin soup with shrimp, coriander and cumin, yellow lentil curry and green mango curry. Wendy Siu, president of luxury tableware shop Heather & March (the Prince's Building, Central), and the Mandarin Oriental's pastry chef Yves Matthey are teaming up to offer an exclusive cooking class on Thursday.
