If you find it difficult to justify taking a day off for golf, here's an event your boss may consider a fair excuse.
Marketing company SRC Associates is organising a charity golf event in aid of charity Po Leung Kuk.
'Corporations and individuals have an increasing number of organisations vying for their time and money. It is up to us as a community, and the charitable organisations, to offer a compelling reason to give. This event [Friday, October 29], which hopes to raise more than $1 million, allows exactly this,' says Bob Sawhney, managing director of SRC.
All proceeds will go to Po Leung Kuk to help a family service centre promote family ties and offer counselling services.
The entrance fee for each principal player is $2,500, while playing guests pay $3,200.
