Launched by Hebe Haven Yacht Club (HHYC) two years ago, the event will see 27 dinghies racing round-the-clock starting at 2pm tomorrow.

The sailors have been seeking sponsorship to help raise funds for charity.

Competitors, including adults, will be sailing on single-handed Topper Topaz or Laser and double-handed Enterprise or Laser Stratos crafts around a 1.6-kilometre course with pits stops at set intervals for the changing of crews.

King George V School will participate in the race, while Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club will send four youth teams.
