National Day celebrations are usually a dull affair but the Hong Kong Federation of Women has promised to dish out something interesting, if not scary. At tomorrow evening's televised dance party, justice secretary Elsie Leung Oi-sie has promised to sing on stage with the likes of Pamela Tan Kam Mei-wah, the home affairs director, at TVB's TV City in Tseung Kwan O. Susan Tang Yew Zoe-chi (pictured left with Elsie Leung), mother of Financial Secretary Henry Tang Ying-yen, will perform Latin dance. Let's hope her bones can withstand the demanding cha-cha. With such talents on stage, they threaten to overshadow teen idols Yumiko Cheng and Joey Yung Cho-yee, who will also perform at the event.
